Eternal One, God of Creation,
God of Beginnings,
Who smiles with us when we
Try to begin something new and holy:

Be with us this evening
In this beginning.

Your creation reflects the wonders
Of your imagination
In beauty, surprise, diversity;
We imagine a church, a community,
A world that treasures
Beauty and diversity
As much as you do.

So, Creator, smile with us this evening,
Give us grace, wisdom, and humor
To be co-creators with you,
Let us reflect and amplify
The beautiful, amazing ways
Of your beautiful creation.
